Lean out
Keep muscle while you drop fat: protein to protect it, electrolytes so a low-calorie week does not feel like a hangover, carnitine if we have it on the shelf.

How to take it
- Protein: 1 g per pound of goal bodyweight. Spread across the day, shake where food is impractical.
- Electrolytes: one serving in the morning or around training, more in Valley heat.
- Carnitine: 1 to 2 g before training. It does nothing on the couch.
What to skip
No "fat burners" with a stimulant pile. Caffeine helps a little; a 300 mg pill plus an energy drink helps nobody.
